Colorado Experience Road Show

The “Colorado Experience” Road Show is presented by The Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media and Rocky Mountain PBS. Since 2015, the “Colorado Experience” Road Show has toured statewide, celebrating Colorado history and original television content.

The Emmy Award-winning series, “Colorado Experience,” produced by Rocky Mountain PBS, explores the people, places and events that have shaped Colorado. Each ½ hour episode presents Colorado history in an entertaining, quick-paced and educational format that features interviews with experts and historical photos donated from various libraries and museums across the state.

The Road Show screens two “Colorado Experience” episodes significant to each Colorado town. Following the episodes are Q&A sessions with film office staff, producers of the show, and local historians. All screenings are free and open to the public. “Colorado Experience” is currently the highest rated, locally produced show on Rocky Mountain PBS and airs Thursday nights at 7:30 pm.

“There are so many amazing stories (in Colorado). We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to bring them to television so everyone can experience the rich history of Colorado.”
