Colorado Actors & Screenwriters Assembly is a benevolent community of over 1,100 actors, writers, filmmakers and industry personnel who represent all levels and facets of film and theatre production. Its goal is to establish a community spirit that embraces the arts, as well as its supporting structures, through community outreach programs, such as the CASA General Assemblies, free workshops and lectures and an Internet presence to facilitate community awareness and communication.
Colorado Actors & Screenwriters Assembly members are encouraged to volunteer some of their time and services to assist their fellow artists and thus their community. The entire film and theatre community is encouraged to use CASA to seek assistance and support from its membership and to offer support in return.
