Passenger Rail Service
AMTRAK offers daily service from Denver, heading off to San Francisco, Chicago and points farther east. It's the western route that attracts the attention of anyone who loves sweeping vistas of mountain ranges and steep canyons. Special observation cars allow an even greater appreciation of the view. Winter sports enthusiasts can sample part of the same route on the Ski Train from Denver to Winter Park.
