If you want to learn about producing feature films and documentaries, how to create a television show, or how to produce a web cast, Colorado is where you need to go to school. Colorado has 14 schools with specialized film and media related programs, ranging from prestigious universities to local community colleges. Public and private trade schools offer degree programs ranging from Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Film & Television (BA), Bachelor of Fine Arts In Theatre, Film & Television (BFA), to Associate of Arts Degree. Colorado universities and colleges can prepare you for the real world with a combination of classroom and hands-on learning environments. If you want to learn about the media you can do it in several large metropolitan communities like Denver, Boulder and Colorado Springs or in a smaller more relaxed enviornment like Fort Collins, Greeley or Pueblo. In fact, there is a media program in just about every region of Colorado.

So, with such diverse learning opportunities, it’s clear that Colorado is not just a great place to make films, but to study filmmaking as well.
