Colorado Film Commission Announces Inaugural Hall of Fame Gala to Honor John Fielder

The Colorado Film Commission will hold its Inaugural Hall of Fame Event on November 2, 2007 honoring world-renowned photographer John Fielder. The event will take place at the Pinnacle Club by the Grand Hyatt.

The gala will include a VIP reception, a Gallery and Publications library of Fielder's work. A multi-media presentation with dignitaries and special guests will highlight Fielder's contributions to Colorado as a historian, preservationist, and artist.

Fielder has hiked and skied hundreds of miles in Colorado alone - and drives thousands of miles more- in order to record on film its most sublime natural places. For the past 30 years, no one has traveled this state like John Fielder - from its rolling plains to the soaring Rocky Mountains and the Western Slope's remote plateaus and river canyons.

Fielder's work and photography highlight common goals with the Colorado Film Commission: promoting Colorado locations, economic developmnet of the state through film production and promoting yet protecting Colorado's natural resources.
