Film Incentive Bill Signing
June 5, 2006
Join us for the signing of Colorado’s Film Incentive Bill on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 1:30pm in the plaza of the World Trade Center at 1625 Broadway (16th and Broadway) in downtown Denver.
Governor Owens will be on hand to sign the Film Incentive Bill into law along with four other bills representing over $39 million in economic development spending.
Denver’s own Academy Award winning Producer Donna Dewey will be the speaker representing the film and production community. She will talk briefly about the benefits of the Film Incentive Bill and the potential for Colorado’s film future.
We would also like to thank the Denver’s Opera Shop for providing the staging for the event, and Colorado Springs based Audio Analysts for providing the sound equipment for this event.
If you have any Colorado Film hats or clothing please wear them and help identify yourselves as part of the production community. If you don’t have a Colorado Film item wear something from another production you have worked on so others can see the level of involvement Colorado crew members have in the global production community. Please show up if you can, it has taken 10 years of work for us to reach this milestone!
Come early as we are expecting a large crowd and lots of media for this event.
