The New Commission Depends Upon YouFebruary 27, 2006 In Colorado, we understand that film is integral to our lives. We understand that a successful, vibrant film industry contributes to the economic, social and cultural well being of our state and its people. We believe that Colorado is the hub of film activity between the coasts. We believe that Colorado can become a preeminent source of independent film in North America. Colorado Film unifies the film industry. Colorado Film is who we are, what we do, and what we can be. Colorado Film is what we live for, what we learn about and what we love. The Colorado Film Commission has been effectively re-launched with much energy and enthusiasm but without any supporting budget. To deliver any of our exciting programs and initiatives, we need to raise significant funds. About the Colorado Film CommissionThe Colorado Film Commission is a private non-profit organization whose mission is to promote Colorado as a location for making feature films, television shows, television commercials, still photography, music videos and other types of emerging mass media projects.
